HERITAGE HALL
Normally used to house various
volunteer student groups, Heritage
Hall is now extending their lodging
to include those hikers and trail bikers
traveling through Southwest
Virginia. Equipped with clean sheets
and towels, hot water, snacks and sleeps
and where from one to twenty people.
Donations of $10.00 a day per person and
$1.00 / mile shuttle fee, are asked to help
with our operation costs.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
The town of Rural Retreat consists of
two square miles. With in walking
distance of Heritage Hall is a Restaurant,
Post Office, Public Library, Barber Shop,
Laundry Mat, as well as various churches.
The town of Rural Retreat also contains
a grocery store, located a mile from
Heritage Hall.On the outskirts of town,
approximately 5 miles from Heritage Hall
you can find the Rural Retreat Lake and
Campground. Available at the Lake,
depending upon the season, you can find
a Jr. Olympic size pool, trophy fishing, and
picnic shelters.
